Director dealings: EnQuest CEO's family firm makes £0.13m purchase
(Sharecast News) - EnQuest found itself on the list of director buys on Wednesday, after a company linked to its chief executive officer spent more than £0.13m on shares. The London-listed firm said Double A Limited purchased 491,583 of its shares on the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
It paid 27.1p per share, spending a total of £133,218.99 on the transaction.
EnQuest said Double A Limited is a company beneficially owned by the extended family of its CEO, Amjad Bseisu.
Elsewhere, Hiscox disclosed a purchase made by one of its non-executive directors in lieu of board fees.
The FTSE 250 insurer said Colin Keogh had chosen to use 50% of his fees to buy shares in the company, leading to it arranging to purchase 1,617 shares on his behalf.
It said the shares were purchased under a predetermined election at a price of 944p each, valuing the transaction at £15,264.48.
