Director dealings: Everyman insider linked to purchase, Britvic CEO covers tax bill
(Sharecast News) - Two significant director dealings disclosed to the market on Wednesday included a purchase linked to a director at Everyman Media Group, and a sale made by Britvic's chief executive officer to cover his costs after a vesting. On 30 January, Blue Coast Private Equity bought 250,000 shares in Everyman Media Group for 60p each.
The company said Michael Rosehill, who serves as a non-executive director at Everyman, also holds a directorial role at Blue Coast.
Following the transaction, Blue Coast's total ownership had risen to 22,053,639, equivalent to a 24.2% stake in the company's issued share capital.
Elsewhere, on 28 January, awards over Britvic's partially vested.
The awards were granted on 28 January 2021 under the firm's performance share plan (PSP) to its executive directors.
The criteria for vesting were based on relative total shareholder returns and adjusted, diluted earnings per share (EPS), and so 60.7% of the PSP awards vested on this date.
Chief executive officer Simon Litherland saw 86,762 shares vesting under the PSP on 28 January.
Litherland then opted to sell 40,922 of the shares to cover tax liabilities and dealing costs.
As a result, his total share ownership in Britvic now stood at 439,902 shares, equivalent to 0.18% of its issued share capital.
At the close on Wednesday, shares in Everyman Media Group were flat at 61p, while those in Britvic were down 0.4% at 882.5p.
