Director dealings: Hiscox non-exec take some fees as shares, LSE buyback continues
(Sharecast News) - On the buying side of the ledger on Wednesday was insurer Hiscox, after a non-executive board member chose to take some of his director fees in shares.
The firm said Colin Keogh, an independent non-executive director, had elected to use 50% of his board fees to purchase shares in the company.
On 21 June, the company as a result arranged for the purchase of 1,360 shares on behalf of Keogh.
It said the shares were picked up at a price of 1,100p apiece, valuing the transaction at a total of £14,960.
London Stock Exchange Group was once again on the list of director sells, meanwhile, as its Refinitiv-linked share buyback programme continued.
The stock exchange operator said that on 20 June, York Holdings II sold back another 9,880 shares in the company on the London Stock Exchange itself.
It received 88,637.08p for each share, valuing the transaction at £853,343.50.
LSE Group said in its disclosure that its director Martin Brand is also a director of York Holdings II.
York Holdings II, meanwhile, is understood to be a part of the ownership structure that holds the consideration shares paid by LSE Group to Thomson Reuters and Blackstone on the completion of its acquisition of Refinitiv.
At the close on Wednesday, shares in Hiscox were down 0.27% at 1,092p, while those in London Stock Exchange Group were 1.11% weaker at 8,540p.
