Director dealings: On the Beach, PayPoint non-execs make purchases
(Sharecast News) - On the Beach Group was among those reporting director buys on Monday, after its founder and non-executive director was linked to a purchase. The online travel retailer said Hawksford Trustees Jersey - a 'person closely associated' with Simon Cooper - notified the company on 11 August that Cooper had purchased 2,823,862 shares at price of 88.0907p each, for a total value of £2,487,559.80.
Following the purchase, Simon Cooper had an interest in 12,521,226 of the firm's shares, representing 7.51% of its issued share capital.
Of that, 10,427,589 were held by Hawksford Trustees Jersey, and 2,093,637 were held by Cooper himself.
Elsewhere, PayPoint also disclosed a share purchase made by a non-executive director, with Ben Wishart picking up 3,500 shares in a market transaction.
The company said Wishart bought the shares on 14 August for a price of 553p each, valuing the transaction at £19,355.00.
At the close on Monday, shares in On the Beach Group were up 13.85% at 104.4p, while those in PayPoint were 0.91% firmer at 555p.
