Director dealings: Revolution Beauty non-exec invests, LSE Group buyback continues
(Sharecast News) - Revolution Beauty Group was on the list of director buys on Tuesday, after a non-executive board member purchased half a million shares across several transactions. The company said Matthew Eatough bought 404,563 shares on 30 June for 31.93p each, and picked up another 23,575 shares on 3 July for 30.96p apiece.
On 4 July, Eatough added another 71,864 shares to his holding, paying 31.89p for each share.
Following the purchases, Revolution said in its disclosure that Matthew Eatough held 500,000 of its shares, representing 0.2% of its currently-issued share capital.
On the selling side of the ledger was London Stock Exchange Group, as its share buyback programme continued.
The exchange operator said York Holdings II had sold back another 22,465 of its shares on 3 July, at a price of 8,294.12p each.
LSE Group said in its filing that its director Martin Brand is also a director of York Holdings II, making it a closely-associated entity with Brand.
It is understood that York Holdings II forms part of the structure set up to hold the consideration shares paid when LSE Group's acquisition of Refinitiv from Blackstone and Thomson Reuters completed.
A number of those shares exited lock-up restrictions earlier this year, leading to a share buyback deal being agreed with LSE Group.
At the close on Tuesday, shares in London Stock Exchange Group were down 0.15% at 8,240p, while those in Revolution Beauty Group were 11.29% firmer at 34.5p.
