Director dealings: Smurfit Kappa chair invests, Hays exec vests and sells shares
(Sharecast News) - Smurfit Kappa was among those on the list of director purchases on Wednesday, after its non-executive chair picked up a number of shares. The company said Irial Finan purchased 5,500 shares on 12 September, in a single transaction in Dublin.
Finan paid €32.85 for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of €162,770.26.
On the selling side of the ledger was Hays, after one of its executives vested a number of award shares, and subsequently offloaded them.
The firm said Doug Evans picked up 91,144 shares at nil cost, following the vesting of an award granted under its performance share plan in September 2018, including related dividend equivalent shares.
Evans then sold the 91,144 shares for 104.2023p each, valuing the sale at £94,974.14.
Hays said both transactions took place in London on 12 September.
At the close on Wednesday, shares in Smurfit Kappa Group were up 0.43% at 2,780p, while those in Hays were ahead 0.1% at 104.4p.
