FTSE 250 movers: Wood Group in favour; Aston Martin hits the skids
(Sharecast News) - The FTSE 250 was down 0.49% at 21,071.11 at 1445 BST Wood Group shares rose as the company said on Monday that its full-year results remain in line with the guidance given in January and that the exceptional charge related to the Aegis Poland contract remains at around $100m.
Shares in low-cost airlines Wizz Air and easyJet both gained as oil prices fell on fears of reduced demand from China.
Ascential shares were up as the information and events company confirmed it was mulling a breakup of the group. Reports in the weekend suggested it was looking at separate US and UK listings for the spinoffs.
Pets at Home shares were higher as Berenberg lowered its target price to 510.0p from 570p and maintained a 'buy' rating on the stock, acknowledging that the group had an "exceptional" 2022 trading year.
Aston Martin was under the cosh after Goldman cut its price target on the shares.
